Fiscal.ai
Fiscal.ai, formerly FinChat, provides source-linked company fundamentals, segment and KPI data, estimates and filings through a web terminal, an API and connectors built into ChatGPT, Gemini Enterprise, Claude and Microsoft Copilot.
fiscal.ai ↗Fiscal.ai has become a default data source inside the frontier AI platforms. In 2026 it became a native data partner in ChatGPT for Financial Services, a connector in Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services and an official Claude connector — placements otherwise held by Daloopa, FactSet, LSEG and S&P. Its first-party fundamentals cover more than 13,000 companies within minutes of earnings, every value links to its source filing, and the terminal costs under $2,000 a year.
The institutional evidence base is thin. Content is limited to fundamentals, transcripts and estimates: no expert or broker research. SOC 2 Type II was announced in January 2025, but ISO 27001, SSO, audit logs, a no-training commitment and information-barrier controls were not located, and named institutional customers appear only on third-party sites. A team of about 40 has raised about $13m.
We initiate at 5.71, Emerging, with an Improving outlook. Delivery surfaces and cost are among the strongest in our coverage; Data & Content, at 4.42, reflects a deliberately narrow content set, and Enterprise Readiness, at 4.29, reflects missing documentation. Enterprise controls and named references would move the score most.
Strengths
- Frontier-platform placement. Native data partner in ChatGPT for Financial Services (September 2026), Gemini Enterprise connector (August 2026) and official Claude connector (April 2026).
- Auditable data. Click-through to the source filing page for every value, with mapping and provenance flags.
- Speed. First-party earnings data within three to seven minutes of release for 13,000+ companies.
- KPI depth. Segment and KPI data for 2,500+ companies, plus fund letters from 750+ investors.
- Cost. Terminal from $39 a month billed annually and MCP at $780 a year.
- Partnerships. Two-way data partnership with Aiera; S&P, Zacks and Morningstar data; VanEck as strategic investor.
Cautions
- Enterprise controls. ISO 27001, SSO/SAML/SCIM, audit logs, residency options, a no-training commitment, zero data retention and MNPI controls were not located.
- Attestation detail. The trust centre states "SOC 2 compliant" without type or period; the Type II claim rests on a January 2025 announcement.
- Content scope. No expert or broker research, and client data ingestion has no current evidence.
- Customer evidence. Named bank and asset-manager customers appear on affiliate review sites, not company sources; no case studies.
- Product status. Recent reviews say the terminal no longer has built-in chat, with AI delivered through connectors; buyers should confirm.
- Pricing changes. Tiers and prices have changed several times since 2025; the MCP plan is sold separately and non-refundable.
- Scale. About 40 staff and $13m raised against much larger data incumbents.
