Aiera
Aiera provides live event audio, transcripts and AI summaries for more than 45,000 investor events a year, and delivers permissioned broker research and expert content to analysts and AI assistants through its platform, API and MCP connector.
www.aiera.com ↗Aiera has built rights to content that matter more in the AI era. Eleven research providers — including BofA, Barclays, Citi, Deutsche Bank, HSBC and UBS — back Aiera and permission their research for AI delivery, alongside Third Bridge expert content. Its MCP connector sits inside Claude for Financial Services and ChatGPT, so permissioned content reaches the assistants analysts already use. Event coverage spans 45,000+ events a year with live audio and human-reviewed transcripts.
Two things limit the rating today. We did not locate a SOC 2 attestation, ISO 27001, SSO or a product subprocessor list, and no named customer or pricing is published. On 8 October 2026, BlueMatrix, majority-owned by Thoma Bravo, agreed to acquire Aiera, with closing expected in the fourth quarter.
We initiate at 6.62, Established, with the outlook Under Evaluation. The outlook reflects the pending change of control, which may alter pricing, roadmap and support. Aiera's published evaluation work is among the most open in our coverage. Enterprise Readiness, at 5.71, is its weakest dimension. Post-close plans and security attestation would resolve the outlook.
Strengths
- Permissioned sell-side content. Eleven research providers back Aiera and permission research for AI delivery — the input buy-side firms say they value most.
- AI-assistant distribution. An MCP connector inside Claude for Financial Services, confirmed by Anthropic, a ChatGPT app and Azure, Anthropic and OpenAI connector libraries.
- Event coverage. Live audio and transcripts for 45,000+ events a year across 13,000+ equities, with macro and regulatory events from the Columba acquisition.
- Open evaluation. A public finance leaderboard, a methods paper and a study that reports where its own data did not help.
- Sell-side leadership. A CEO who ran Internet research, a chairman who was Citi's global research COO, and a head of product from Point72, AlphaSense, Bloomberg and FactSet.
- Workflow integrations. BlueMatrix, Eidosmedia, Q4 and Fiscal.ai integrations, and a Buy-Side Advisory Council.
Cautions
- Change of control. BlueMatrix, majority-owned by Thoma Bravo, agreed on 8 October 2026 to acquire Aiera, with closing expected in the fourth quarter.
- Compliance evidence. We did not locate SOC 2, ISO 27001, SSO/SAML/SCIM, data residency, retention terms, zero data retention, an MNPI policy or a product subprocessor list.
- Training scope. Customer data is excluded from training general-purpose models, while public event audio is used for training; buyers should confirm treatment of their own content and prompts.
- Coverage claims. Event counts have moved between 60,000 and 45,000 and back to 50,000, and transcript accuracy is stated as both 99% and 99.9%.
- Self-run benchmarks. The leaderboard's research task uses a private question set run through Aiera's own MCP server.
- Customer evidence. No named customers, customer count or case studies were located; the banks are described as backers.
- Pricing. Pricing is enterprise-only, and broker access depends on each provider's entitlement.
- Hosting. Materials name both AWS and Azure; the production cloud is unclear.
