AlphaPai
AlphaPai, operated by Shanghai-based Rabyte, is an AI research assistant used by Chinese buy-side and sell-side analysts to attend and summarise roadshows and meetings, track broker views and run research agents on its PaiWork workstation.
www.rabyte.cn ↗AlphaPai has become core infrastructure for Chinese equity analysts. Its assistant automates attendance and minutes across ten meeting platforms, and the company reports more than 120,000 professional users at 8,000 institutions. It raised three rounds in twelve months — about RMB 600m from GL Ventures, HongShan, Qiming and China Insurance Investment — and shipped the PaiWork agent workstation, an agent benchmark with two universities and six brokers, and a partner programme with 40+ broker research institutes in 2026.
A court ruling sits at the centre of the content model. In May 2026 the Shanghai IP Court upheld a judgment that offering restricted roadshow content beyond brokers' whitelists was unfair competition, ordering RMB 4.1m in damages, takedowns and a public apology. The recording tool itself was not held unlawful. Current base models, citation controls, security certifications and pricing were not located, and the product is China-hosted and A-share-focused.
We initiate at 5.64, Emerging, with a Stable outlook. Product Capability, at 7.08, and momentum are strengths; Enterprise Readiness, at 4.00, reflects the ruling and missing documentation. For global buyers the note is primarily a reference to the Chinese market. Licensed sourcing through the partner programme and named certifications would move the score most.

- Compliance exposure. Clients using a tool that records restricted meetings carry their own information-barrier risk.
- Model disclosure. The current base models are not disclosed, and citation controls were not located.
- Security evidence. Only an unnamed "international standard" certification is cited; MLPS, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and private deployment were not located.
- Pricing. No public pricing.
- Global fit. China-hosted and A-share-focused; cross-border data rules apply.
- Evidence. User, penetration and attendance figures are self-reported.
