Consumer Edge
Consumer Edge sells transaction-based data and insight on consumer, B2B and healthcare spending — card, receipt, web-traffic and claims data — to investors and corporates, through data feeds, its Dash platform, the Cosmos AI agent, an MCP connection and ticker-level Research Signal reports.
www.consumeredge.com ↗Consumer Edge has turned a broad set of transaction panels into the most transparent AI product in this segment. Its US card data covers more than 100 million cards back to 2016, alongside SKU-level receipts, web traffic, European transactions and, since the Earnest Analytics acquisition in April 2025, healthcare data. Cosmos Agent (April 2026) answers spending questions in plain English and shows the SQL, sources and method behind every answer; on 15 October 2026 the same data reached Claude and ChatGPT through CE Cosmos MCP. Research Signal, launched in June, pairs spend data with analyst forecasts and a back test over more than eight quarters.
Enterprise evidence is the gap. We did not locate SOC 2 or ISO 27001, a trust or security page, SSO or audit-log documentation, an AI-use or no-training statement, or a description of consent and MNPI screening beyond anonymisation. The model behind Cosmos is not named, the back test is company-reported, no quantified client case was located, and pricing is not published.
We initiate at 6.10, Emerging, with an Improving outlook. Product Capability (7.17) and Workflow Fit (6.92) lead its profile; Enterprise Readiness, at 4.57, is the weakest dimension. Published assurance and AI terms would move the score most.
