TradingHub detects market abuse with risk models rather than fixed rules. MAST expresses trades as risk sensitivities, so it can link exposures across instruments — bonds across a yield curve, or a swap and its underlying — and rank alerts by their financial materiality across 35 MAR typologies. The company reports that half of the largest global banks use it, processing four billion trades and orders a day. Nordic Capital became majority owner in April 2026, with Summit Partners and co-founder Neil Walker retaining minority stakes; Nordic Capital reports 2025 revenue of €50m, and former FactSet CEO Phil Snow became chairman in October.

The scoring variant counts against a trade specialist. TradingHub offers no communications surveillance or archive, which the segment variant weights heavily. AI agents are described as in development but none is released, no evaluation or client outcome is published, and the deployment model and product access controls are not documented. Certification is a strength: a 2026 SOC 2 Type II report, ISO 27001:2022 and an ISO 42001 audit planned for the fourth quarter.

We initiate at 5.84, Emerging, with an Improving outlook. Workflow Fit (6.67) and Product Capability (6.08) lead; Data & Content (5.58) reflects the communications-centred variant and Commercial Value (4.17) the absence of public pricing or outcomes. Released AI capability and a trade-surveillance sub-variant at the quarterly review would move the score most.

Strengths

  • Cross-product detection. Risk-sensitivity models link exposures across instruments, which rules-based systems struggle to do, particularly in fixed income and OTC derivatives.
  • Materiality ranking. Alerts carry a USD severity value and are aggregated by day, so analysts start with the largest risks.
  • Tier-one franchise. Half of the largest global banks as clients (company), and banks using fixed-income surveillance now evaluating equities.
  • Assurance. SOC 2 Type II (2026 report), ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 14001, with an ISO 42001 audit planned for Q4 2026.
  • Ownership and scale. Nordic Capital majority since April 2026, €50m revenue in 2025 and a former FactSet CEO as chairman.
  • Configurability. Calculation as a Service lets clients build custom controls on TradingHub models.

Cautions

  • Scope. No communications surveillance or archive; buyers need separate vendors.
  • AI delivery. AI agents are described as in development; no release date located.
  • Evidence. Low false-positive rates and enforcement backtesting are vendor-reported; no named clients or quantified outcomes.
  • Documentation. Deployment model, product SSO and audit logging are not documented publicly.
  • Leverage. The acquisition was reported as financed with a $175m unitranche at about 7x EBITDA.
  • Reporting. STOR and CAT filing are not evidenced.
  • Pricing. No public pricing and no trial located.
