Eventus
Eventus provides Validus, a trade surveillance, pre-trade risk and algorithmic-trading monitoring platform for exchanges, brokers, futures commission merchants and crypto and prediction-market venues, with Frank AI for natural-language queries.
www.eventus.com ↗Eventus is a specialist in high-throughput, multi-asset trade surveillance. Validus runs 150+ configurable procedures across equities, options, futures, FX, fixed income, digital assets and prediction markets, for clients including Cboe, Coinbase, Binance, Marex and Instinet. Frank AI turns natural-language questions into code that runs on the client's own data, and Eventus won four prediction-market venues in 2026 alongside a run of industry awards.
Ownership and leadership have changed in a short period. Terminus Capital Partners took a majority stake in February 2026; the founder-CEO was replaced in May and the CTO and Chief Customer Officer in June, by executives mostly from outside surveillance. Headcount is about 105 and flat. There is no native communications surveillance or archive, no published evaluation, no ISO 27001, and SSO is not documented.
We initiate at 6.00, Emerging, with a Stable outlook. Workflow Fit (7.17) and Enterprise Readiness (6.29), helped by on-premises deployment, are strengths; AI & Technology (5.17) and Data & Content (5.83) are weaker — the latter reflecting a segment variant weighted toward communications, which a trade-surveillance specialist does not offer.
