Carousel built an assistant inside Microsoft Excel that creates, edits, formats and explains spreadsheets and financial models from plain-language instructions and uploaded PDFs, CSVs and decks. It targeted bankers and PE and asset-management analysts, and AlphaSense acquired the Y Combinator company in October 2025.
